NHS Staff Wired With Video Cams As Violence Surges!

"Hospital guards are being wired up with RoboCop-style video cameras to crack down on an epidemic of violence.
The shoulder-mounted devices allow them to record yobs and drunks who intimidate and attack NHS staff.
The compact clip-on cameras may be introduced nationwide to counter the worrying surge in violence and abuse that plagues hospitals, particularly accident and emergency departments.

Trials of the kit in several hospitals have been very successful with the number of incidents cut by almost HALF.

The neighbourhood officers wearing the head gear are able to record incidents they attend and record sound.
