Q1. Why won't my Robocam Player  not power up?

(i)Press and hold orange on/off button on top of player for between 2 & 3 seconds as there is a small time delay feature.
(ii)Check battery is charged or is charging.
(iii)Check mains adapter is OK.

Q2. Why is the battery not lasting or holding charge?

Leave player on until battery is completely flat, then recharge battery for approx. 8 hrs. and until battery indicator is full.

Q3. What do I  need to do if I have forgotten the password?

Password recovery information is available upon request by e-mail / sending out by post or you can call our dedicated service line for help.

Q4. Does the player support windows 7?

Yes it does. Go to software and drivers on your computer, and then select the latest software for your player. In most instances your computer should recognise your player when the USB lead is inserted.

Q5. What do I do if the Robocam  player freezes?

Try resetting the player by gently inserting a pen tip or similar sharp object into the small hole next to the on/off switch on top of the player.
If the player is still not responsive, try removing and refitting the battery.

Q6.Player wont play the recorded files , or  displays ‘unsupported files'?

Go to settings menu, then system submenu and  Format player.

Q7.Why can’t I get picture in record mode?

(i)Make sure camera lead is inserted securely and record mode is selected on controller lead.
(ii)Make sure battery has sufficient power.
If all above fails, Camera / controller lead may be faulty and require service.

Q8. Why am I having problems downloading files from the Robocam player to the computer?

Check USB leads are securely inserted.
Check / change USB lead or try different port on computer.
Make sure player is compatible with computer.

Q9. Why does the Robocam Player keep stopping in record mode?

(i)Make sure there is memory space on your player.
(ii)Make sure there is sufficient power in the Battery.
(iii)Check the recording interval times on your player.

Q10. Can I review my recordings with the Robocam Controller lead inserted?

(i)Yes press stop on your controller lead. Press and hold the menu button for about 3 seconds. The key lock icon will appear in the top left hand side of screen which will indicate key lock off. You can now scroll through the menus of your choice.
(ii) You can resume recordings by following steps in (i) and highlighting camera icon, then depress black play button on player.
